If u are using fast fix brackets then put silicone around the back before screwing up to stop water penetration and will also help with fixing it, this and normal plugs should be ok pppmacca43, Jun 14, 2024 #3 ben100 Member

Seal the hole in plasterboard so filler sticks nicely and fill. On solid walls pull them out.
