WebMay 16, 2010 · 1956 Johnson 15 HP FDL-10. I pulled the flywheel off to do some ignition work on this motor. I always thought there were 2 magnets in my flywheel....1 directly across from the other. Found out in my flywheel there is no magnet in section A below and actually appears to be 2 right next to each other in section B below.

WebJul 15, 2010 · Sorry about the lack of info. I'm not sure of the model number but it's a Murray Riding lawn mower. the engine is manufactured by briggs and stratton and has an electric starter. I believe it's 5HP. By magneto I mean (magneto armature/fan) which bolts to the top of the crank. It would be located just under the pull starter if this model had one.
