WebDec 13, 2024 · Whilst having to use a build of Companion 2.2 beta for a bug fix, the latest version of OBS crashes on exit when using Websocket 4.9.1. You either get a "OBS has crashed" message or an exe crash message. According to previously closed ticket 52, 4.9.1 fixed an issue with 2.2 that stopped this from happening. It's still happening. (Update) Add module variables: time_since_last_clock_update and connection_timer (Can be used to monitor for connection issues) (Update) Naming update for WatchDogTimer (improve code clarity) (Update) Improved/extra debug logging (esp important for diagnosing user connection issues)

I think the following steps should force it into place. Backup your config, and restore in a new installation of companion pi. I think it will be /home/pi/companion, but it could be somewhere else.
